The BPDLH is governed by the Steering Committee whose membership includes ten line ministries related to the environment. Several other groups can participate in the governance of the BPDLH through an ad hoc Advisory Group. These groups include: Civil Society Organization (CSOs), the private sector, donors, vulnerable communities (women, youth, indigenous/adat), academia and research organizations. The Steering Committee is the highest level of decision-maker for the BPDLH, including for the provision of strategic guidance and steering the overall vision of the BPDLH. Day-to-day management and operationalization is undertaken by the President Director of the BPDLH.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
BPDLH is chaired by a President Director (PD) to deliver the tasks of the agency. The PD is supported by four Working Unit Directors and an Internal Audit Unit embodied in the structure of the BPDLH as seen below.
